Congratulations to Zendaya Coleman, as she has just made Emmys history!

The 24-year-old actress has become the youngest actress in history to win an Emmy in the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series category – and we couldn’t be happier for her!

Her category was incredibly tough, as she was up against the likes of Jennifer Aniston (The Morning Show), Olivia Colman (The Crown), Jodie Comer (Killing Eve), Laura Linney (Ozark) and Sandra Oh (Killing Eve).

See, we told you it was tough…

Zendaya told the world that she was “speechless” when she received the nomination for her role as teenage drug addict Rue in HBO’s Euphoria a few months ago – and she appeared to be equally as shocked when her name was announced as the winner.

“I don’t even know how to describe how I feel right now. I’m incredibly grateful and honored,” she told Entertainment Tonight after her win.

She also took to Instagram to reflect on the evening, telling her followers that she was, quite understandably, “on cloud nine”…

“Still on cloud nine…so grateful, still speechless, to all my friends and family who have texted/tweeted/called etc. I promise I will get back to you tomorrow when I’ve wrapped my head around this amazing night,” she wrote on her Instagram Story.

“Until then… gonna go to sleep and make sure this isn’t a dream.”

And in her acceptance speech, Zendaya credited the “young people out there”, saying that although Euphoria doesn’t depict them all in the best light, she has nothing but admiration for them…

“I know this feels like a really weird time to be celebrating, but I just want to say there is hope in the young people out there,” she said in her acceptance speech during the virtual ceremony.

“I know that our TV show doesn’t always feel like a great example of that – but there is hope in our young people and I just want to say to all my peers out there doing the work in the streets, ‘I see you, I admire you, I thank you.'”

Congratulations again, Zendaya!
