Kim Kardashian is American Vogue‘s March 2022 cover star – and as well as looking phenomenal on the front cover, the 41-year-old SKIMS founder left nothing off the table in her accompanying interview.

The former KUWTK star explained that this year is going to be different for her, as she is going to start putting herself first, perhaps for the first time in her life…

“For so long, I did what made other people happy, and I think in the last two years I decided I’m going to make myself happy. And that feels really good,” the mom of four told the fashion bible.

“And even if that created changes and caused my divorce, I think it’s important to be honest with yourself about what really makes you happy. I’ve chosen myself.”

The businesswoman and lawyer-in-training said that she sees her 40s being very different, and she’s only going to surround herself with people who make her “happy”…

“My 40s are about being Team Me. I’m going to eat well. I’m going to work out. I’m going to have more fun, spend more time with my kids and the people who make me happ,” she confessed.

“I’m going to put my phone down. Unfollow if I don’t want to see something on Instagram. Khloé came up with the best phrase for that yesterday. She said, ‘Post and ghost.'”

We are obsessed with the new Kim!

Of course, Kim touched on her divorce from 44-year-old Yeezy designer Kanye West (who now formally and officially goes by the name Ye) in particular how she wants the co-parenting of their four children – daughters North, 8, and Chicago, 4, and sons Saint, 6, and Psalm, 2 – to ideally go…

“You could be so hurt or angry at your ex, but I think in front of the kids, it always has to be ‘Your dad’s the best.’ Make sure you are your co-parent’s biggest cheerleader, no matter what you’re personally going through,” she said.

Sadly, Kim didn’t touch on her relationship with 28-year-old Saturday Night Live comedian Pete Davidson, which we’re pretty heartbroken about. However, she did mention their recent trip to the Bahamas, so we guess that sort of counts?

Kim made the comment in reference to the “people” she was with insisting they stayed off their phones in order to enjoy their vacation…

“I was in the Bahamas, and the people I was with said, ‘We’re on f***ing vacation. We haven’t been on vacation in a long time,'” she said. “And then they threw their phones in the ocean. I was like, ‘What? What? What? Am I allowed to do that?'”

We’re not sure if she actually did throw her phone in the ocean, as there appeared to be many social media posts about it, but maybe one day…
