In a world where everyone tries so hard to make everything seem perfect on social media, we really love it when celebs open up to tell us that, actually, they’re just like us, and not as perfect as we may think!
Kylie Jenner is the latest A-lister to get candid with her fans, telling them that six weeks after welcoming her gorgeous baby boy Wolf Webster into the world, she isn’t doing so good…
“I just want to say to my postpartum moms that postpartum has not been easy. It’s not been easy, it’s very hard,” the 24-year-old Kylie Cosmetics founder said in a series of very candid videos that she posted to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday.
She went on to say that her experience with her son is a lot different from her experience with her daughter Stormi, who she and Travis Scott welcomed back in 2018…
“This experience for me, personally, has been a little harder than with my daughter,” the billionaire beauty mogul continued.
“It’s not easy mentally, physically, spiritually, it’s just crazy.
“I didn’t want to just get back to life without saying that, because I think we can look on the Internet, and for other moms going through it right now, we can go on the Internet and it might look a lot easier for other people and, like, put the pressure on us, but it hasn’t been easy for me either, it’s been hard.”
Speaking of putting pressure on herself, Kylie went on to say that she didn’t want to make herself feel bad if she didn’t manage to work out that day, as planned, and reiterated that it’s okay not to be okay – especially when you have brought new life into the world!
“It’s okay not to be okay,” Kylie Jenner added.
“I just keep reminding myself I made a whole human – a beautiful, healthy boy. And we have to stop putting pressure on ourselves to be back – not even physically, just mentally – after birth.”
We’re so glad that Kylie had the courage to be so open with her fans! We bet every single new mom appreciates her honesty!
